CSF raise calculator
See what paid ads could add to your raise before you commit a dollar. Put in your target and a few numbers from your own campaign, and watch the EOIs, investors, capital and return move as you type. No email, no download.
Your raise
What you're aiming to raise. We size your ad budget against it, roughly 3% is our starting point.
Sizes your total ad budget at ~3% of target, then splits it 70% into the EOI phase and 30% into the offer.
Your ad plan (EOI phase)
What you'll spend on Meta ads each day while you collect EOIs.
How long the expression-of-interest phase runs.
Ad spend divided by EOIs. Use the real figure from your account if you have one.
How many cold, ad-driven EOIs go on to invest.
Your mean cheque size across the raise.
Offer phase (the live raise)
What you'll spend while the offer is live, usually about 30% of your total ad budget. It's counted in your budget totals; the money it brings in shows up as the "from outside the EOI list" share.
Beyond the ads
Your founder network, PR and the platform's own audience. These come in whatever you spend.
Extra EOIs from shares and referrals that your paid reach kicks off.
Warm people invest at a higher rate than cold ad traffic, so this sits above your ad rate.
The share of your whole raise that comes from investors who never registered an EOI. Usually 10-40%.
Scenario range
Same inputs, with cost per EOI and conversion rates nudged worse (cautious) and better (optimistic).

A forecast, not a promise. What you actually raise depends on your creative, your offer, and how the campaign runs day to day.
Rules of thumb
How much do you need for your ad budget?
Rough rule of thumb: budget around 3% of your raise goal for ads.
Budget about 3% of target
Aiming for $1M? Plan on roughly $30k in ads across the whole campaign. Spend much less and you starve the raise of reach; past a point, extra dollars stop pulling their weight.
Split it 70 / 30
Put about 70% of the budget into the EOI phase and 30% into the live offer. The EOI phase builds the list that makes the offer convert, so it earns the bigger share.
Expect a 70 / 30 investor mix
Around 70% of the money comes from people who registered an EOI. The other 30% comes from investors who never did and show up once the offer opens. That last slice is the off-EOI list uplift above.
